Danny.. don't think I've come across you before. Right, "Drugs" - I smoked weed in the 70s and early 80s, when I was dating a musician and living in a community with a lot of old hippies. After that, I was on my own. Since then, I've never had any friends nor had any clue how to network; hence I've never been able to obtain any "illegal" drugs from anywhere. I do feel very embarrassed and useless to have to admit this. So, instead, I've indulged in that go-to of the social pariah, alcohol. (Purely because anyone, even me- can just go into a shop and buy it). I envy you taking an E - at least you had contacts; plus, taking "drugs" is still kinda cool. Abusing alcohol is just a cipher for ugliness, useliness, waste-of-spaceness, benefit dependency.
